The City of San Clemente is closing its beaches two hours early and it plans to hire security guards in an effort to reduce rowdy behavior. This comes after U.S. Marines were assaulted by a group of teenagers near the San Clemente Pier. Beach security guards will patrol beaches to prevent trouble from occurring. Eventually, more sheriff’s deputies will be added to the area.
