Our hearts go out to the families of the children and teachers who lost their lives in the school shooting in Texas. We live in an increasingly violent society where people who shop in a grocery store or pray in church and now children who attend school are regularly targeted by gunmen.

As a security guard company, we have seen the increase in violence firsthand. Our guards are encountering more and more individuals who carry out verbal and physical attacks in public places that before were considered safe and secure.

We as a society need to do better, much better.
