ACS uses an extensive screening process when hiring security officers and continues with intensive candidate evaluation for specific jobs. We focus on “screening in” the best candidate by matching the officer’s skills to the skill requirements needed for the job. Our typical screening process may include the following:
- State agency security guard licensing verification
- Driving history
- 10-year employment background check
- Personal reference check
- Comprehensive drug screening
- Proof of legal right to work in the United States
- Orientation testing and evaluation sessions
- Client involvement and recommendations
- Written honesty evaluation (where permitted by law)
Our Training Process
All security officers and supervisors at ACS have passed all state licensing requirements. Our personnel also must successfully pass annual continuing education programs. The professional training of security officers consists of:
