Private Event Security
Whether the occasion is a large wedding, fundraiser, corporate event, birthday party or any other private gathering where a significant number of people attend, you’ll want to consider adding a layer of security to ensure the event is not marred by negative incidents and attendees are safe.
Surveying The Scene. Private event security companies, such as Access Control Security, will meet with event organizers onsite to review the property (i.e., home, hotel ballroom, outdoor setting) to assess security vulnerabilities. Members of the private event guard team will go over the event schedule so they are aware of what is taking place and when. From there, a customized security plan is created.
Access To Entrance. One of the most common security concerns by private party planners is that an uninvited individual will try to gain entry to the event. Private event security guards are deployed to event entry points. They can help with guest check-in and once the rush of invitees is over, will remain at all entrances to prevent someone from trying to sneak in later.
Maintain Order. While the majority of event goers know how to behave themselves, there are always a few who may drink too much, bend the rules or cause disturbances. The job of private event security guards is to monitor the crowd. If guards see or are alerted to bad behavior, upon the okay of event organizers, they will discretely address the issue—either by diffusing the situation or escorting the individual in question out of the venue.
When An Emergency Occurs. If an emergency happens—a fire, earthquake, a stage collapses, a medical issue for example—security guards respond by contacting first responders, use their First Aid training when necessary until help arrives and then apply crowd control measures.
